If you need advice from Medicentre, Asthon-in-Makerfield after surgery hours, i.e. between 6.30 pm – 8 am weekdays, weekends or Bank Holidays, an “Out of Hours” service is available. . If you telephone surgery out of hours a recorded message will inform you where to telephone for help.

We are working in a federation with other practices in order to make services more efficient. This may mean some services are provided jointly, where other services are retained by the practice.
Extended Opening Hours are available on Monday evening strictly for patients who have access problems during normal surgery times. Our current extended opening hours are displayed in Reception and on our current Practice Information Sheet.
